اولا : نمذجة الحركة باستخدام المصفوفات ( الازاحة Translations)

Activity (1)

Suppose quadrilateral ABCD with vertices A(-1, 1), B(4, 0), C(4, -5), and D(1, 3) is translated 2 units left and 4 units up.
a. Represent the vertices of the quadrilateral as a matrix.
b. Write the translation matrix.
c. Use the translation matrix to find the vertices of A’B’C’D’, the translated image of the quadrilateral.
d. Graph quadrilateral ABCD and its image.
a. The matrix representing the coordinates of the vertices of quadrilateral ABCD will be a 2 x 4 matrix.

(د) ارسم الشكل الرباعي ABCD وصورته.

نمذجة الحركة باستخدام المصفوفات ( الانعكاس (Reflections :

ملاحظة: يوجد ثلاثة خطوط تنعكس فيها الاشكال بشكل عام وهي كالتالي :
( المحور X أو Rx ، و المحور Y أو RY ، و المحور Y أو Ry ، و المستقيم Y=X او Rv=x).

Activity (2): Use matrices to determine the coordinates of the vertices of each reflected figure, the graph the pre-image and the image on the same coordinate grid.

نشاط رقم (2):
استخدم المصفوفات لتحديد احداثيات رؤوس كل شكل بالانعكاس ، ثم ارسم
الشكل قبل الانعكاس و الصورة بعد الانعكاس على نفس شبكة الاحداثيات.
a) a triangle ABC with vertices A(-1, -2), B(0, -4), C(2,-3), reflected over the x-axis
(أ) المثلث ABC ذو الرؤوس (3-2), (4-0), (2-1) بالانعكاس في محور X.
