Meeting and Greeting in the U.A.E. (Unit 1)
In the U.A.E the formal way to greet each other is by touching each other`s noses and shaking hands. Foreign visitors can shake hands and hug but you don`t bow. In a conversation, when you are speaking or listening to an Emirati person, it is important to pay attention and look at his eyes. This shows respect. Don`t touch him and never say negative things about the U.A.E.
