 : Read the following passage and answer the questions below

                                                   Protect the Environment

I am Mahra , I have read articles about animals extinction and deforestation in my classs . I learned that these things are happening in our world because of the pollution that we humans produce . That is why it is important to protect the environment . Just reading about animal extinction , deforestation and pollution is not enough . Also , only thinking about ways to help protect the environment is not enough either . I believe we can stop damaging our environment by making better decisions about what we do and what we  buy .

 One way to stop pollution is by recycling . I didn’t start recycling until last year . My brother also started recycling around the same time . My father has been recycling in our house for five years . He bought a recycling bin for our house because he does not want animals getting sick from eating plastic .

My brother was recycling for the same reason but these days , he does it because he says there is a lot of paper waste and he wants to save the trees . I am recycling because I don’t want waste to affect the ground and the food that grows in it . This is also why it is important to buy biodegradable and sustainable products in shops . Additionally , biodegradable products have nice packaging and that  can be reused .

I would love to live in a modern house that is good for the environment . I would be able to use energy just from the solar panels , but it would be unusual . For now , I live in a traditional villa with my family . I do like living here because it is comfortable . My mother would like to live in a luxury apartment near the shopping centre , but there is a new shopping centre opining up in our area , so she is happy about that .
